The pictures in the Aircraft gallery include Spitfire, Hurricane, a Mustang named 'Ferocious Frankie', Mig 15, Meteor, Venom, Gnats and one of the last ever flights of the Avro Vulcan.

I have added a few pictures from a couple of days at The Asylum Steampunk Festival in Lincoln at the end of August. It was a great 2 days despite the weather and all of the costumes and contraptions were fantastic (or should that be 'splendid'?). Thank you to everyone who let me photograph them.
Although this is my first blog post for a while, I have been relatively busy taking photos and just have not had time to upload them yet. I hope to catch up soon.
Made my mum some fish cakes. Haddock, cod and salmon cooked in the oven, mashed with Maris Piper potatoes and horseradish, then mixed with chopped smoked salmon, parsley and brown shrimps. Mixture was formed into patties, coated with a flour mix of plain flour, cornflour, paprika and sea salt, then dipped in a beaten egg, the coated with breadcrumbs. The fish cakes were then fried in coconut oil and served with a creme fraiche based chargrilled cucumber and dill sauce on a bed of pea shoots in a lemon and maple dressing.
With Mother's day, Ruby Wedding anniversary and recuperation from a routine operation all coinciding, there has been, to put it mildly, an abundance of flowers, chocolates and cake recently. These two are new arrivals from the latest batch wonderfully rich chocolate cupcakes. Thank you very much, Wendy :)
I am in the process of setting up this new site for my photos. I hope to start uploading some pictures over the next few days. In the meantime, I have lots of settings and layout to explore and attempt to understand. Including this blog. This is actually my first blog post, on any blog, ever. Is that a good thing?
